Ensemble Hotel Partners was formed as a division of Ensemble to capitalize on the principals' collective expertise as Hotel developers and managers. The principals of Ensemble, prior to formation, were involved in a number of hotel development and repositioning projects throughout greater Los Angeles such as the Holiday Inn Bayview Plaza in Santa Monica, the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, and the Ramada Renaissance Hotel in Agora Hills.

Since joining the company in January of 2005 after managing the World Trade Center Hilton in Long Beach (an Ensemble owned hotel at the time), Ed Proenza has successfully managed the Ensemble Hotel Partners group through the acquisition of the Coast Hotel in Long Beach, and the current development of a 176 room extended stay hotel. While managing the Hilton, Ed oversaw the design and creation of the Hilton Executive Meeting Center, which is one of the foremost conference centers in Southern California. With over 30 years of hotel operations knowledge, Ed is a cornerstone to the Ensemble Hotel Partners group, whether managing day-to-day operations or ground up development projects.
